Expression, structure, computation — kept visibly apart.
LANSKRIT is a research instrument. Its method is a discipline of separation: what a language expresses, what its structure exposes, and what code can execute are three different things, and the interface refuses to blur them.
- Layer A · Expression
Why human language matters
Languages have spent thousands of years compressing hard-won distinctions into grammar: who saw a thing, how certain the speaker is, how an event unfolds in time, who holds authority over the utterance. Code has explored a fraction of these. LANSKRIT reads language as a design archive, not as decoration.
- Layer B · Structure
How LANSKRIT exposes structure
Each capability is described three ways: the plain-language question it answers, the linguistic evidence that supports it, and the computational shape it hints at. Signatures, trails, and relationship maps are deterministic diagrams — the same input always produces the same picture — so the reader can see the argument, not a mood.
- Layer C · Computation
How the graft is executed
Where a capability is ready, LANSKRIT ships a working runtime: an evidence-typed value system, a small DSL, a deterministic clock, and a fingerprinted receipt for every run. No AI, no hidden model. Reproducibility is a design property, not an aspiration.
- Verified
- Supported by cited literature reviewed for this entry.
- Under review
- Drawn from established literature but not yet reviewed in-house.
- Illustrative
- A common example intended to convey the shape of the feature.
- Source required
- A source is expected but not yet entered. Do not treat as verified.
- Contested
- Scholars disagree on the claim; treat it with care.
LANSKRIT uses no AI. The same input always produces the same output. Every receipt carries its rule-set version so results remain reproducible.
lanskrit-evidentiality-v0.1
Where a verified source is not yet entered, LANSKRIT prints “research source pending verification” rather than inventing a citation. Missing evidence is shown, not hidden.
